- Art Workshop
- February 3, 2026 - 9:00-3:00 - Anna Bier Gallery (Memorial Hall)
- In this one-day professional development workshop, art teachers will explore approachable methods for introducing oil painting to students, while dusting off some skills of their own. Through guided exercises designed to overcome the fear of the blank canvas, participants will gain confidence in both their own creative process and their ability to inspire that same confidence in their students.
- The class will focus on practical techniques—from color mixing and paint handling to creative approaches for building engaging still life projects. Teachers will experiment with various tools and application methods, learning how to adapt traditional oil techniques into dynamic, student-friendly lessons.
